Using a new catalyst technology developed in collaboration with Director Fujimoto of HiBD Research Institute, a general incorporated association, waste cooking oil is transformed into biojet fuel (SAF: Sustainable Aviation Fuel).
This is a groundbreaking technology that can reduce hydrogen costs compared to conventional renewable jet fuel (SAF) production technologies. As Japan's first domestically developed renewable jet fuel production technology, patent applications have been filed around the world and the technology has already been granted an international patent.
We were also selected by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) as part of a "New Energy Technological Innovation Support Project for Venture Companies," and we are the first domestically patented technology to achieve Annex 2 international standard (ASTM D7566) for SAF (biojet) fuel.
